Italian Beef Sandwiches
|Beef chuck roast||1 , trimmed|
|Dried basil||3 Tablespoon|
|Dried oregano||3 Tablespoon|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dry onion soup mix||1 1⁄8 Ounce (1 Envelope)|
|Italian sandwich rolls/Sandwich buns||12|
Place the roast in a slow cooker.
Combine basil, oregano and water; pour over roast.
Sprinkle with soup mix.
Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until meat is tender.
Remove meat from broth; shred with a fork and keep warm.
Strain broth; skim off fat.
