Steamed Dandelion Greens
|Dandelion greens||2 Bunch (200 gm), trimmed and washed well|
|Olive oil||2 Teaspoon (10 Milliliter)|
|Low sodium chicken broth/Beef broth||60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
|Italian sausage||1⁄2 Pound, cooked and crumbled (230 Gram)|
|Fresh basil||15 Milliliter, chopped (1 Tablespoon)|
|Salt||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
|Pepper||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
Trim off bottom third of stems; wash leaves and remaining stems well.
Chop into bite-size pieces.
In a large saucepan or skillet, heat oil.
Add chopped greens, broth and basil.
Cover and cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until tender.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
