No-Meat Italian Sauce
|Olive oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic clove||2 Medium, halved|
|Tomatoes||28 Ounce, sieved|
|Snipped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Oregano leaves||1⁄2 Teaspoon, crushed|
1. Heat olive oil and garlic in a 2-quart glass measuring pitcher in microwave oven 3 minutes at High, or until garlic is lightly browned.
2. Add sieved tomatoes, parsley and dry seasonings to garlic and oil; stir. Cook uncovered in microwave oven 30 minutes at High; stir twice. Remove garlic.
