Basic Polenta

Polenta is an irresistible mouth watering side dish recipe which you would love to serve to your loved ones. Try this Polenta dish; I bet you will have a huge fan following for this.
  Water 1 Quart
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Cornmeal 1 Cup (16 tbs) (yellow or white variety)

1. Bring about two and one-half cups of water to a boil in the top part of a double boiler over direct heat. Add the salt.
2. Mix the cornmeal with the remaining water and add to the boiling water. Reduce the heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture boils.
3. Place the pan over boiling water and cook, covered, about forty-five minutes, stirring occasionally.
