Mixed Italian Olives

Ingredients
  Green olives 1⁄2 Pound
  Black olives 1⁄2 Pound
  Celery stalks 3 , chopped
  Green pepper 1 , chopped
  Red pepper 1 , chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Olive oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Black pepper To Taste
  Oregano To Taste
Directions

Crack the olives with a hammer until the pits show and combine with the remaining ingredients.
Let stand at room temperature two days.
Store in refrigerator in sealed, sterilized jars.
