Oregano Flavored Chicken Cacciatore

  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Onion 1⁄2 Medium, sliced and separated into rings
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced (Small Clove)
  Dried oregano 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Broiler fryer chicken pieces 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Bottled italian cooking sauce 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cooked spaghetti 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Hot)
  Grated parmesan cheese 2 Tablespoon

1. In a round, 8-inch baking dish, combine butter or margarine, onion, garlic and oregano. Cover with vented plastic wrap. Microwave at 100% (high) 3 minutes or until tender; stir after 1-1/2 minutes.
2. Turn chicken pieces over in butter or margarine mixture to coat. Arrange chicken, skin-side down, with meaty pieces toward outside of dish. Pour cooking sauce over chicken, coating completely. Cover with vented plastic wrap. Microwave at 100% (high) 7 minutes.
3. Turn chicken skin-side up; spoon sauce over chicken. Cover with vented plastic wrap. Microwave at 100% (high) 8 to 9 minutes or until tender when pierced with a fork and juices run clear.
4. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
