Homemade Basil Pesto

Basil pesto is a quintessential spring time dish in Italy when the basil comes out. It is the perfect time of the year to make basil pesto. Enjoy basil pesto with crackers, pasta or anything else that you like. It’s full of flavors and a great accompaniment to have.
Ingredients
  Extra virgin olive oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped garlic 1 Clove (5 gm) (Chopped Freshly)
  Small basil leaves 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Toasted pine nuts 3 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Pecorino cheese/Greek yogurt 2 Tablespoon (Grated)
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Take olive oil in a blender. Add chopped garlic and give it a shot.
Add the basil leaves to the blender. Pulse it, do not blend or the basil will be ruined.
Take out the pulsed basil and add toasted pine nuts to the blender. Pulse it again.
Add pulsed pine nuts to basil.
Add 2 tbsp of sardo pecorino cheese or Greek yogurt to basil and mix.
Add salt to taste and more olive oil of required.
Enjoy with pasta or crackers or in a mixture of fresh beans and potatoes.
