One Pot Chicken Alfredo

Lynn demonstrates a quick and easy dinner, One Pot Chicken Alfredo. This is a quick meal, served with a salad and garlic bread. From Kitchen Meets Girl.

Ingredients

Olive oil 3 Tablespoon
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 1/4 Pound , diced into 1" pieces
Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm) , minced
Salt To Taste
Pepper To Taste
Garlic powder To Taste
Canned chicken broth 14 Ounce (1 can)
Half and half 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Spaghetti/Fettuccine noodles 1/2 Pound , uncooked
Grated parmesan cheese 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Chopped parsley 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (opt., for garnish)
Crumbled bacon 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (opt., for garnish)

Directions

MAKING:

Heat olive oil in a skillet or pot.

Season chicken with salt, garlic powder and pepper.

Brown chicken pieces in oil for about 6 minutes.

Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.

Add pasta, chicken broth, half and half and bring mixture to boil.

Cover with a lid and allow mixture to simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in parmesan cheese. Allow to sit for 10 minutes until cheese melts.

Garnish with parsley and bacon if desired.
