Hazelnut And Almond Fingers

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Egg 1
  Milk 3 Tablespoon
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Hazelnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs), ground
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg yolk 1
  Ground almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), flaked
Directions

MAKING
1. In a bowl, sift flour and baking powder and make a well in the centre
2. Into the well, add egg, milk and half the sugar and mix it all well
3. Add the rest fo the sugar, butter or margarine and hazelnits and mix into the dough quickly; chill fro twenty minutes
4. Form into small fingers, brush them with beaten egg yolk and in the ground and flaked almonds
5.Place on a greased baking sheet adn bake for fifteen minutes at 400° F until lightly browned

SERVING
6. Serve as appropriate
