|Fine white breadcrumbs||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Dried basil||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
Cut cheese into fingers 3 inches long and 1/2 inch thick.
Season beaten eggs with salt, pepper, and basil.
Roll cheese fingers in bread crumbs.
Coat with egg, and roll in bread crumbs once again.
Preheat stovetop grill.
Grill cheese fingers over medium heat until coating is lightly browned (about 30 seconds on each side).
