teaTea has several health benefits and different types of teas are used for medicinal purposes too. This soothing warm beverage is prepared by steeping dried herbs or roots in some boiling water. Different herbs or roots prove helpful for curing different health problems. Extracting the benefits of specific types of herbs via tea-making is undoubtedly one of the world's oldest forms of medicinal treatments.


Chamomile Tea

Chamomile tea has been used for a long time. It leads the body into a sleepy, relaxed state. Chamomile offers a natural soothing effect, and its other additional medicinal properties are supported by controlled medical studies. The American Chemical Society has proved that chamomile helps the body to increase levels of hippurate . The hippurate aid the body in fighting common infections like colds. Its anti-inflammatory properties provide relief in case of back pain and stomach cramps. These properties often help in reducing skin inflammation.


Ginger Root Tea

Due to its relaxing properties, valerian also proves to be beneficial for calming muscle cramps, induced by menstruation or bowel troubles. Valerian is used to treat insomnia too. You must be careful while using it because valerian may have an adverse effect on some people, which results in nervousness and anxiousness.
