Sand Plum Conserve
|Sand plums||8 Cup (128 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||4 Tablespoon|
|Lemon rind||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Seedless raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Black walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1) Take a saucepan and combine lemon juice, plums, raisins, lemon rind and sugar in it.
2) Cook over low heat until mixture turns thick, stirring constantly.
3) Add walnuts to the plum mixture.
4) Pour Sand Plum Conserve into hot sterilized jars and seal nicely.
