Whole Wheat Yeast Biscuits

Ingredients
  Active dry yeast 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Package)
  Warm water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (105° To 115°)
  Whole wheat flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dried oregano 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dried basil 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Margarine 3 Tablespoon
  Buttermilk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  All purpose flour 2 Tablespoon
  Vegetable cooking spray 4
Directions

1. Combine yeast and warm water in a small bowl; let stand 5 minutes.
2. Combine whole wheat flour and next 7 ingredients in a large bowl; cut in margarine with a pastry blender until flour mixture resembles coarse meal. Add yeast mixture and buttermilk to flour mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
3. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons flour evenly over work surface. Turn dough out onto floured surface, and knead 3 or 4 times. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness; cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter. Place on baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes or until biscuits are lightly browned.
