Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 2 Teaspoon
  Chopped onion 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Tomato juice 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Bay leaf 1
  Chopped celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (With Leaves)
  Dried oregano leaves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Seasoned salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

1. In hot butter in medium saucepan, saute onion, stirring, until golden—3 minutes.
2. Add other ingredients; simmer 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
3. Strain. Taste for seasoning. Serve hot or cold.
