Grape Conserve

  Concord grapes 3 Pound (Ripe)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Grated lemon rind 4 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Orange 1⁄2 , chopped fine (Skin And All)
  Granulated sugar 3 Pound (7 Cups)
  Finely chopped walnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Liquid pectin 4 Ounce (Half Bottle)

Stem grapes, crush or put through food chopper, using coarse blade; add water and simmer 30 min covered.
Press through a sieve to remove seeds and skins.
Combine lemon rind, juice, orange, sugar, and nut meats in a saucepan.
Add grape pulp to which enough water to make according to manufacturer's directions—has dripped through this device for 1 min., you can tell by figures on the tube how many cupfuls of sugar the fruit juice needs to insure good jelly.
