Party Pear Preserves

|Sugar||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Light corn syrup||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Pears||2 Quart, sliced|
Mix the sugar, water and corn syrup in a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
Add the pears and cook until pears are tender and syrup is thick.
Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
