Gooseberry Conserve

Ingredients
  Gooseberries 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Orange 1
  Sugar 2 2⁄3 Cup (42.67 tbs)
  Raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

Wash and drain the gooseberries.
Grate the orange rind, then remove the white membrane.
Cut the pulp in small pieces.
Mix the gooseberries, orange rind and pulp, sugar and raisins.
Cook over low heat and stir until the sugar dissolves, then boil over high heat until the liquid sheets from a spoon.
Add the nuts and stir to mix well.
Pour immediately into hot jars and seal.
