|Gooseberries||1 1⁄2 Quart, stem and blossom ends removed|
|Raisins||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped seeded orange||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Sugar||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
Combine all ingredients in a large sauce pot.
Bring slowly to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Cook almost to jellying point, about 30 minutes.
As mixture thickens, stir frequently to prevent sticking.
Pour hot into hot jars, leaving 1/4-inch head space.
Process 15 minutes in boiling water bath.
