Bisquick Yeast Rolls
|Active dry yeast||1 Tablespoon (1 Package)|
|Warm water||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs) (Not Hotâ110 To 115)|
|Melted butter||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
Dissolve yeast in water.
Stir in sugar, shortening, and Bisquick; beat vigorously.
Turn dough onto surface well dusted with Bisquick.
Knead until smooth, about 20 times.
Shape as desired, into crescents, rolls, etc.
Place on lightly greased baking sheet.
Cover with damp cloth.
Let rise in warm place (85 °) until double, about 30 min.
Heat oven to 400° (mod. hot).
Bake 10 to 15 min., depending on size.
Brush with melted butter after baking.
