Kamut Bread Ii - No Yeast - No Eggs has been the staple food in my house for many yeas now as my husband does not like eggs. I cannot quite describe the taste of this Kamut Bread Ii - No Yeast - No Eggs. You will have to try it!
  Flour 960 Milliliter (Kamut Brand, 4 Cups)
  Water 480 Milliliter (2 Cups)
  Vitamin c crystals/Crush a tablet 1 Pinch
  Honey 45 Milliliter (3 Tablespoon)
  Oil 180 Milliliter (3/4 Cup)
  Cream of tartar 3 1⁄2 Teaspoon (3 Milliliter)

Whisk 2 cups flour, water, vitamin C, honey and oil together for about 15 minutes.
Cover the bowl with damp cloth overnight or 10 hours.
Mix 1 cup flour into mixture until mix is elastic, and knead for about 20 minutes, then leave for one hour.
Then mix rest of ingredients and again knead until gluten is developed, as much as 30 minutes.
Put in loaf tin, cover and leave rise for 1/2 day.
Bake 40 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
Use toothpick to test.

Can I possibly omit the Vit C and add 2 eggs? We get plenty of Vit C and I use most of my baking to add eggs. Also, what is KUMUT BRAND? I make my own kamut flour from the grain. Thanks

Can this be made with any gluten free flour? I have been looking for a recipe for gluten free, yeast free bread.
