Red Lentil

Red lentil is a type of pulse that is also known as masoor dal in many Asian countries. Lens shaped seed in appearance; red lentil is grown in the famous legume family’s annual plant. These pulses are usually 38 cm tall and cultivated in the pods with two other seeds at the same time. Lentils are known for their high nutritional value, which includes essential amino acids isoleucine and lysine. It is also a great source of protein. Types of Red Lentin Red lentils are also found in various other forms all across the world. Some of the other types of lentils are Brown or Spanish Pardina, French Green or Puy Dark speckled blue-green, Green, Black or Beluga, Yellow or Tan Lentils Red inside, and Red Chief Decorticated yellow lentils.
