Pudina chutney is a popular Indian dish that usually accompanies a variety of snacks and even some of the main dishes. Pudina, which is actually the mint plant, has a number of health benefits and when consumed as chutney, it even tastes delicious. Pudina chutney is particularly eaten during the summer months when it helps in digestion. Preparing pudina chutney recipe at home is very easy and hardly takes any time. Pudina chutney recipes are quite common and a number of alterations can be made to make the chutney more delicious. To prepare pudina chutney at home pudina leaves, raw mango, sesame seeds, oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and asafetida are required. The oil has to be heated and then in that mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafetida and green chilies have to be added. Mango also needs to be added and fried for a couple of minutes along with pudina leaves. The mixture has to be cooled and grinded to make a fine paste. For seasoning salt needs to be added to the pudina chutney paste.
