Papdi

Papdi is a very popular and sweet and sour snack recipe that was originally invented in North India. Popularly known as papdi chaat, this dish is actually tangy, hot, crunchy and sweet in flavor. Papdi recipes are one of the great snack meals in North India. However, it can also be served with alongside the main meals. The main ingredients required to make papdi chaat are all-purpose flour, ghee, onion seeds, salt to taste, Vegetable or canola or sunflower cooking oil, potatoes, chickpeas, onions, tomatoes, red chilli powder, powdered black rock salt, cumin seeds, yoghurt, Tamarind Chutney and Mint- coriander paste. Coriander leaves can be added in the end as garnishment to this papdi snack.
