Kaju Barfi

Kaju barfi is an extremely popular Indian and Pakistani dessert. Barfi, an Indian sweet similar to lozenge when made using cashew nuts is called kaju barfi. Thickening milk along with sugar, dry fruits and mild spices are used for making the barfi. It is yellow or white in color and is served in bite-sized pieces. It may be decorated with edible silver foil before serving. It is expensive as compared to other Indian sweets and is relished during festivals and special occasions in India.
