Chaat Masala

Chaat masala is a mix of spices that is used widely in Indian cuisine. Besides being used in a number of main dishes, it is also used as a flavoring in some of the most popular Indian fast foods such as bhelpuri, golgappa, dahi puri and aaloo chaat. Chaat masala is a combination of dried mango powder or aamchoor, cumin, kala namak, coriander, ajwain seeds, cloves, dried ginger, salt, black pepper, asafetida, tartaric acid and cayenne.
