Rice beer is prepared to be consumed as a refreshing and stress-relieving drink. Boiled rice is used for making rice cakes as local delicacy. Millet is mixed with rice to make traditional drink called ‘Apong’.

 

Though, ‘thupka’ is not a native creation, but quiet popular among ‘monpa’ tribe.

 

Horticulture is also predominating in the state; hence fruits cultivation in orchards is a very common practice in the region. Fruits such as oranges, plum, peach, pineapple and cherries are largely grown in Arunachal Pradesh.
