|Mixed dal||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), soaked overnight|
|Garlic ginger paste||1 Teaspoon|
|Chopped fried onions||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground roasted cumin||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Coriander powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Chili||1 , finely chopped|
|Turmeric powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Garam masala||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Finely chopped coriander leaves||1 Teaspoon|
|Dry breadcrumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Oil||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Shallow Frying)|
|Onion||1 , cut into slices|
Boil dal until mushy and the water is completely absorbed.
Cool and mash with a fork.
Mix all the ingredients up to salt and pepper together and make into 2 x 1/4 thick round patties.
When ready to serve, coat on both sides with bread crumbs and shallow fry.
