|Cumin seeds||1 Teaspoon (Jeera)|
|Onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced|
|Ginger||1 Teaspoon, cut into thin strips|
|Garlic paste||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Coriander||1 Tablespoon, chopped (For Garnish)|
1 Peel and cut the potatoes into 4 pieces lengthwise.
2 Cut each piece into thin slices.
3 In a pan, heat the oil.
4 Add in the cumin seeds and let them crackle.
5 Add the onions and saute till they are golden brown.
6 Add ginger garlic paste and cook gently.
7 Add the potatoes, salt and pepper, cook stirring.
8 Cover with a lid and cook on low heat until just cooked.
9 Serve hot, garnished with chopped coriander.
