Easy To Make Authentic Chicken Curry

Perfectly spiced with native herbs and spices, a real classic.
  Whole chicken 1 , cut up and skinned
  Turmeric powder 1 Tablespoon
  Sea salt 1 Tablespoon
  Jaggery/Brown sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Chili powder 2 Teaspoon
  Coriander seeds 1 Teaspoon, ground
  Cardamom pods 3 , ground
  Cassia bark 1⁄2 Inch, ground (Cinnamon)
  Clove heads 7 , ground
  Kasoori methi 1 Tablespoon, ground (Fenugreek Leaves)
  Cumin powder 1 Teaspoon (Jeera Seed Powder)
  Onion 1⁄2 Large, split in half again
  Root ginger 1 Inch
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm)
  Whole green chili 1 , sliced
  Tomato puree 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cayenne pepper 1 Teaspoon, ground
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Tomato 1 , chopped
  Vegetable 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Of Your Choice Like Okra, Potato, Green Beans, Squash Etc)
  Ghee/Butter 2 Tablespoon

Grate 1/2 of your halfed onion (1/4), ginger and garlic into container.
Place cut up chicken in container, to chicken add the following: turmeric, salt, jaggery, fenugreek leaves, chili powder, coriander, cardamom, cumin, cloves, cassia bark, cayenne pepper, juice from grated ginger, onion and garlic, green chili, and finally the tomato puree. Mix well let stand 30-60 minutes.
Heat ghee in pan, add remaining onion and saute til tender. Add tomato and your vegetables and cook 2 minutes. Add chicken mixture to pan and stir all ingredients together. Allow chicken to cook 5 minutes and then add 2 cups water. Reduce heat and simmer 45-60 minutes. Serve over basmati rice with naan bread. Enjoy!
