Curried Lentils

Ingredients
  Lentils 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water/Stock 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Onions 2 Large, chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Butter/Oil 3 Tablespoon
  Curry powder 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Wash lentils; add water and soak several hours or overnight.
Add salt and one of the chopped onions; simmer until lentils are tender, about an hour or longer.
Saute remaining onion and garlic in butter until they begin to brown; add to lentils.
Add curry powder; cook 10 minutes. (Lentils should be very soft.)
