|Melted ghee||6 Teaspoon|
|Poppy seeds||2 Teaspoon|
|Whole wheat flour||125 Gram|
|Soda bicarbonate||1 1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Onion seeds||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1 In a bowl, sift the flour and wholewheat flour.
2 Mix in salt, sugar, ghee and curd.
3 Knead it with a little water until smooth and elastic.
4 Keep aside for 15 minutes.
5 Meanwhile, heat the tandoor.
6 In a bowl, dissolve soda in 1/2 tbsp water.
7 Mix with the dough and knead it again.
8 Make big round balls from the dough.
9 Flatten each between the palms of hands.
10 In a small bowl, mix aniseed, onion seeds and poppy seeds in a little water and sprinkle over the nans.
11 Flatten a little more with hands and then stretch lengthwise from the bottom.
12 Bake in a moderate tandoor.
13 Cover the tandoor and leave the nan in it till golden in color.
14 Remove from the tandoor .
15 Serve hot
