Mutton Pulao

Mutton pulao is a rice and mutton preparation that can be served as a full meal on its own. made with basmati rice with mutton and onions, the mutton pulao is filling and flavorful. Cooked in the microwave with a medley of spices, the mutton pulao can be served with a side of vegetables or have added vegetables in it.
  Basmati rice 400 Gram
  Mutton 500 Gram
  Onions 125 Gram, thinly sliced
  Cumin seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon stick 1
  Bay leaves 2
  Green cardamoms 4 , crushed
  Cloves 4
  Black cardamoms 2 , crushed
  Peppercorns 8
  Red chili powder 1 Teaspoon
  Garam masala powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Turmeric powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Coriander powder 1 Teaspoon
  Water 650 Milliliter

Wash & soak the rice in water for half an hour.
Drain and keep aside.
Heat oil in a 2 litre deep dish on 100% power (for 1:30 min.
Add the cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cloves, pepper corns, black cardamoms and green cardamoms and microwave on 100% power for 1 minute.
Add onions & microwave on 100% power for 5 minutes.
Add the rice, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, coriander [powder, mutton pieces and water.
Mix and 'microwave partially covered, on 100% power for 12-14 minutes.
Allow standing, covered for 10 minutes before serving.
Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
