Bhappa Chingeri

Bhappa Chingeri is a delicious prawn preparation. I use this brilliant Bhappa Chingeri recipe and serve it often for parties. Try the Bhappa Chingeri dish, they have never let me down!
Ingredients
  King prawns 500 Gram, shelled and deveined
  Yellow mustard seeds 25 Gram
  Mustard oil 100 Milliliter
  Turmeric powder 5 Gram
  Salt To Taste
  Green chilies 2 , slit lengthwise
  Onions 115 Gram, finley sliced
  Curd 115 Gram, well beaten
  Ginger 40 Gram, finely chopped
Directions

Soak the mustard seeds in water for about 10 minutes and then grind to a fine paste.
Marinate the prawns in the mustard oil, mustard paste, turmeric powder, salt, green chillies, onions, curd and chopped ginger for about 10 minutes.
Steam in a covered double boiler or in a pressure cooker, leaving the steam outlet uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Serve hot with plain boiled rice.
