Gajar halwa is a traditional indian dessert made with toasted carots cooked in a milk and sugar mix. Cooked to a thick and sticky consistency, the gajar halwa is flavored with cardamom and is very delicious.This is a special low sugar recipe great for diabetics as well as for people on low carb diet. |Grated carrots||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Low fat milk||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Low fat milk powder||6 Tablespoon|
|Sugar substitute||10 Gram (2 Sachets)|
|Cardamom powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon (Elaichi Powder)|
Add carrots to milk and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
Add milk powder and cardamom powder, and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring continuously.
Add sugar substitute and mix well.
