Baked Palak Paneer

My friend gave me this Baked Palak Paneer Recipe. This is a simple and easy vegetable recipe. It is included as a main dish in Indian lunch and dinner menu. Baked Palak Paneer goes well with pulao, but it can also be eaten with paratha or poori. It is a good option for holiday cooking. Cook, share and enjoy this Baked Palak Paneer recipe.
  Spinach 2 Bunch (200 gm)
  Garlic flakes 6
  Ginger 1 Inch
  Coriander powder 1 Teaspoon
  Cumin powder 1 Teaspoon
  Butter 4 Tablespoon
  All purpose flour 4 Tablespoon
  Grated cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Peeled and sliced tomato 100 Gram
  Tomato 50 Gram, chopped (Choose Firm)
  Paneer 250 Gram, cut into small pieces (Cottage Cheese)
  Salt To Taste
  Green chili To Taste

1. Put sliced tomatoes, spinach, ginger, garlic, chilies, spices and salt together in a saucepan and cook till the spinach is soft. Mash to a paste.

2. White Sauce -- Melt butter, add flour and fry to a light golden color .Put in milk gradually, stirring all the time .When it turns thick, add 3\4 cup cheese and keep on stirring till it melts and blends in to the sauce.

3. Spread the spinach evenly in a greased ovenware dish . Spread paneer on top of the spinach, pour white sauce on top .Sprinkle with remaining cheese, dot with butter and bake (at 180 degree Centigrade) for 30 minutes.
