|Besan||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Red chili powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ghee||1 Cup (16 tbs) (For Deep Frying)|
|Thymol seeds||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1 In a bowl, prepare a thick batter with besan, water, salt, ground thymol seeds, red chilli powder and baking powder.
2 Cut paneer into big thin pieces.
3 Rub them with a little salt.
4 In a pan, heat the ghee.
5 Dip the paneer pieces in the batter to coat evenly.
6 Fry in hot ghee till golden brown and crisp.
7 Serve immediately.
