Wheat Grain Dosa
|Wheat grains||3 Cup (48 tbs), soaked for 3 hours in water|
|Cooking oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Asafoetida||1 Pinch (Hing)|
|Curry leaves||1 (1 Sprig)|
I. Batter Preparation:
Soak the wheat grains for three to four hours. You can even soak it in water overnight for next day breakfast. The grains should be soft and easy to grind into a smooth batter.Drain the excess water. Add the red chillies,asafoetida and salt in the mixer/blender along with required water and grind the wheat grains till it reaches the consistency of making dosa.
II. Dosa Preparation:
Keep the tawa over the gas and add a teaspoon of cooking oil. Spread it over the tawa. Take one ladle of batter and spread it into a round shape till it becomes thin and large. After few seconds turn it the other side and spread some oil over it. Wait till the dosa gets crispy. Fold and remove from the tawa.
Enjoy the dosa with coconut chutney or tomato chutney! :)
