Ingredients
  Lotus stems 4
  Cooking apples 500 Gram (Bamchunth)
  Oil 3 Tablespoon
  Aniseed powder 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Turmeric powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ginger powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Green chilies 3
  Asafoetida 4 Drop
  Water 1 (As Required)
Directions

GETTING READY
1 Wash and peel the apples.
2 Cut into 4 big pieces each.
3 Wash the lotus stems well.
4 Cut into slanting pieces.

MAKING
5 In a pressure cooker, heat oil.
6 Add in the lotus stems and fry slightly.
7 Add in the apples, ginger powder, aniseed powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, green chillies and 1 cup of water.
8 Pressure cook for about 10 minutes, until tender.
9 Open the pressure cooker and allow the gravy to dry.

SERVING
10 Serve hot.
