Mixed Dal Fry

Ingredients
  Masoor dal 250 Gram
  Moong dal 250 Gram
  Cumin seeds 250 Gram
  Onion 2 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Large, chopped
  Onion 10 Clove (50 gm), sliced
  Chili powder 2 Teaspoon
  Ginger piece 1 , chopped
  Coriander leaves 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Garam masala 1 Pinch
  Salt To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1 In a large bowl, combine all the dals (lentils) and rinse them well.
2 Allow to soak in water overnight.

MAKING
3 Rinse the soaked dals, and drain well.
4 Transfer to a pressure cooker and add in enough water to cook.
5 Pressure cook for 20 minutes.
6 In a small pan, heat the butter, add in cumin seeds, onions garlic, ginger, salt, turmeric and chilli powder.
7 Fry on low heat until golden brown.
8 Add in to the cooked dal mixture and stir.
9 Cook for 5-6 minutes on medium heat.

SERVING
10 Add in garam masala, and coriander leaves.
11 Serve hot with rice or chapatis.
