Paneer Simla Mirch Ke Saath

  Cottage cheese 150 Gram
  Capsicums 2
  Cooking oil 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Cumin seeds 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Onion 2 Small
  Green chilies To Taste
  Tomato sauce 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 3⁄4 Teaspoon

Wash the cottage cheese, cut it into thick slices and then cut the 1 slices into cubes.
Wash the capsicums.
Lay one sideways on the chopping board.
Slice off the top, stem-end.
With your fingers, remove the inner ribs and seeds.
Now slice the capsicums into rings or pieces.
Put the karhai or pan on the fire with the oil.
Let it heat up for a few minutes.
Drop in the cumin seeds.
Let them turn just a shade darker.
Add the onions.
Stir and cook for a few minutes the onions should soften but not brown.
Add the rest of the ingredients the chillies, sauce, salt, pepper.
In just a few seconds, the fat will separate.
Add the cubed cottage cheese.
Stir and cover the pan for a few minutes.
The cheese will exude water which should dry up.
Add the capsicum and keep on the fire another 5 minutes.
The capsicum should retain some of its crunch.
If you prefer it to be more tender, add it along with the cheese.
