Yummy spicy potato balls wrapped in gram flour batter and deep fried.

Potato | 4 Small , boiled and peeled | |
Red chili powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Chopped green chili | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Garam masala powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Chopped coriander leaves | 2 Teaspoon ((cilantro)) | |
For the batter | ||
Gram flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Turmeric powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Red chili powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Water | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Salt | To Taste |
MAKING
For Potato Mixture:
1. In a bowl, mash the peeled potato, add salt, red chili powder, green chilies, garam masala powder, and chopped cilantro. Mix well. Make small or 4 equal sized balls and keep aside.
For Batter:
2. In another bowl add gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix it with your fingers and add water to make a smooth batter (neither too thick nor too runny). Add more water if required.
3. In a deep pan heat vegetable oil until hot.
4. Dip each ball in the batter and deep fry in the hot oil till golden brown.
SERVING
5. Serve hot with coriander chutney.
