Dry Yam Vegetable

Ingredients

Yam 250 Gram , chopped (suran)
Onion 1 Small , finely chopped
Tomato 1 Small , chopped finely
Green chili 2 , finely chopped
Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
Coriander powder 2 Teaspoon
Chopped garlic 1 Tablespoon
Ginger 1/2 Inch , chopped finely
Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
Red chili powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Oil 3 Tablespoon (2
Salt To Taste

Directions

MAKING

1. Place a pan on flame and pour oil in it. Add cumin and allow it to splutter.

2. Add green chili, and onion. Fry until translucent and then add tomato. Mix well and add chopped yam.

3. Stir in turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, ginger, and garlic.

4. Season with salt, mix well, cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or until done.

SERVING

5. Garnish with coriander and serve hot with roti.
