Mom's Simple And Delicious Beans

This is my mom's version of beans and potatoes, the great thing about this recipe is the perfect texture of beans (cooked yet crunchy). It is one of those recipes which leaves you asking for more.

Ingredients

Fresh green beans 10 Ounce
Tomatoes 1 1/2
Boiled potatoes 1 , cut into chunks
Onion 1
Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm)
Ginger 3 Inch
Garam masala 1 Tablespoon
Coriander powder 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Oil 1 Teaspoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1.Grind onions, garlic and ginger into a fine paste.

MAKING

2.Heat oil in a pan and fry the onion garlic and ginger paste for 5-7 minutes at low heat or until the paste changes color and turns brown.

3.Add chopped tomatoes and cook it for 5 minutes or so, until tomatoes are soft. Mix turmeric powder, coriander powder to it.

4.Add boiled potatoes and green beans. Let the vegetable simmer for sometime until beans are soft (put water if the veggies stick to the bottom of the pan.)

5.Sprinkle garam masala all over the veggies and mix it well. Take the pan off flame.

SERVING

6.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with Flat bread or Rice.
