Bitter gourds are very low in calories but dense with precious nutrients.You should always choose unripe bitter gourd that are firm.Ripe bitter gourd can be excessively bitter.This vegetable is very good for diabetic patients.I had a few bitter gourd in fridge so made Karlyachi Kordi Bhaji with this vegetable.
Ingredients
  Karli 2 Medium, chopped (remove seeds) (Bitter gourd)
  Onion 2 Medium, sliced
  Turmeric powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Red chilly powder 1 Teaspoon
  Oil 3 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Sugar To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1)Apply salt on Karli and keep it aside for sometime.
2)Remove water from Karli.

MAKING
3)In a kadhai heat oil add karli in it and saute it well.(Colour of karli should turn little red)
4)Add onion in it,let it turn brown.
5)Add red chilly powder,turmeric powder,salt and sugar and saute it for atleast 10 minutes.

SERVING
6)Serve Karlyachi Kordi Bhaji with hot chapatti.
