Methamba,a typical Maharashtrian dish made of unripe mango slices,jaggery and fenugreek seeds.It has a sweet and sour taste.A perfect side-dish during summer,the season of mangoes!
Ingredients
  Raw mango 2 Big, peeled and sliced
  Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Asafoetida 1⁄2 Pinch
  Turmeric powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Methi dana 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Fenugreek Seeds)
  Chilly powder 1 Teaspoon
  Jaggery 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Dry red chilly 4 Small
Directions

MAKING
1)In a kadhai heat oil add mustard seeds and let it splutter.Then add asafoetida,dry red chilly and methi dana.
2)Add sliced raw mango in it and saute for 5-10 minutes,by adding red chilly powder,turmeric powder and salt.
3)Once cooked add jaggery and let it boil.

SERVING
4)Serve Methamba with chappati or puri.
