Rava-Besan Ladoo

Sweet,soft,delicious Rava-Besan Ladoo with liberally usage of ghee(clarified butter)tastes yummy!Also with the combination of saffron,raisin and almond this sweet is a real Maharashtrian treat!
Ingredients
  Semolina 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Besan 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (chana dal flour)
  Coconut 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), grated
  Ghee 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted (clarified butter)
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Milk 1 Tablespoon
  Cardamom powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Saffron 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Raisins 2 Teaspoon
  Almond 2 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1)In a kadhai pour ghee and roast besan for 5-7 minutes and keep it aside.
2)Separately roast semolina in ghee then add coconut and sprinkle milk over it.
3)Mix the above mixture with roasted besan.
4)In a pan pour water and sugar and let it boil.It should reach to a certain level of consistency (to check a string should be formed). Turn off the heat and pour the mixture of semolina and besan and mix it well.
5)Once it is cold and the mixture becomes thick add saffron,cardamom powder,raisin and almond and mold it into ladoo shape.

SERVING
Rava-Besan ladoo can be eaten as a sweet after lunch.
