I cannot go for too long without having maharashtrian food.As staying far away from my home-town, i crave for such delicious dishes one of which is Gul Poli.This stuffed chapati with jaggery tastes yummy!
Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Oil 1 Teaspoon, heated
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
For stuffing
  White sesame seeds 1 Teaspoon
  Jaggery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Poppy seed 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Cardamom powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Gram flour 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1)Mix all purpose flour and salt,add hot oil and little water,mix it well to make a dough.

MAKING
2)In a pan roast sesame seed and poppy seed, grind it together.
3)Roast gram flour separately.
4)In a kadhai put jaggery and let it melt.Once it is warm mix powdered sesame seeds,poppy seeds,gram flour, cardamom powder and nutmeg powder.
5)Make chapati of the dough and stuff the filling into it.
6)In a pan roast gul poli from both the sides,pouring some oil in it.

SERVING
7)Serve Gul Poli hot or cold with ghee (clarified butter).

TIP
You can store Gul Poli in an airtight container for several days .
