|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Oil||1 Teaspoon, heated|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|White sesame seeds||1 Teaspoon|
|Jaggery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Poppy seed||1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Cardamom powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Nutmeg powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Gram flour||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1)Mix all purpose flour and salt,add hot oil and little water,mix it well to make a dough.
2)In a pan roast sesame seed and poppy seed, grind it together.
3)Roast gram flour separately.
4)In a kadhai put jaggery and let it melt.Once it is warm mix powdered sesame seeds,poppy seeds,gram flour, cardamom powder and nutmeg powder.
5)Make chapati of the dough and stuff the filling into it.
6)In a pan roast gul poli from both the sides,pouring some oil in it.
7)Serve Gul Poli hot or cold with ghee (clarified butter).
You can store Gul Poli in an airtight container for several days .
