Narali Bhat is a typical Maharashtrian recipe.I generally prepare when i have relatives at my place,the tantalising aroma of this rice would make them hungry.A combination of coconut with jaggery makes this dish a super hit!
Ingredients
  Rice 2 Cup (32 tbs) (preferably basmati)
  Coconut 2 Cup (32 tbs), grated
  Jaggery 2 Teaspoon
  Ghee 7 Teaspoon (clarified butter)
  Saffron 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cardamom powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon stick 1 1⁄2
  Cardamom 4
  Cloves 8
  Nuts 8
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
For garnishing
  Cashew 2 Teaspoon, chopped
  Raisin 2 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1)Soak rice for atleast 30 minutes.

MAKING
2)In a pan boil water add ghee and soaked rice let it cook for 15-20 minutes.
3)In a separate pan heat ghee and add cardamom powder, cinnamon stick, cardamom,cloves,nuts,coconut, jaggery and mix it well.
4)Add boiled rice to it, add saffron little water and cook for 15 minutes on a low flame.
5)Garnish Narali Bhat with cashews and raisins.

SERVING
6)Serve Narali Bhat piping hot!
