1. Soak jiggery in warm water and then dissolve.
2. Mix 50g ghee with whole wheat flour, then add jaggery water to knead a stiff dough.
3. Make dough balls, roll them out to make small discs. Designs such as swastika or floral pattern can be made on the discs by pressing with hand.
4. Heat ghee in a kadai and deep fry discs till golden brown. The roat should be crispy in texture.
5. Serve roat warm or cold as snack.
