This is a delicious and healthy salad from Uttarakhand. It gets the name ‘thechua’ because the mooli pieces are crushed to prepare it, and pahari word for crushing is ‘thech’.
4 Medium (White radish)
1 Bunch (100 gm)
1. Pick coriander leaves and wash well. Grind them along with green chillies and salt in a sil batta or grinder.
2. Wash and peel the mooli, then cut into medium sized pieces. Partially crush the pieces on a sil batta, and then transfer to bowl.
3. Mix the coriander, green chilli and salt mixture into this mooli.
4. Serve as side dish for any meal.
